Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check. Students of all ages and levels benefit not only from private, semi-private and group lessons but also gain self-confidence by participating in recitals, chamber music programs, student projects, community outreach programs and special academy-sponsored events.
