Job Summary As a CBRE, GDS Commercial Cleaner, you will be responsible for basic cleaning duties. This includes mopping, sweeping and trash disposal. You will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of your assigned areas.    Primary Job Functions <ul><li>Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas of the building designated by the supervisor. </li><li>Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap. </li><li>Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc. </li><li>Dust furniture, walls, and equipment which includes moving and rearranging furniture. </li><li>Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. </li><li>Ensure that cleaning supplies are in a safe, secure area at all times.  </li><li>Complete standardized cleaning process as per company standards. </li><li>Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment. </li><li>Attend all regular staff meetings and required in-service training sessions. </li><li>Follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. </li><li>Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.  </li></ul><ul></ul><ul></ul><ul></ul><ul></ul><ul></ul><ul></ul><ul></ul> What you'll need: Education:<ul><li>Required: High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered</li></ul> Experience <ul><li>Required: Minimum of 2 years of job-related experience</li><li>Experience in facilities, maintenance, custodial, or a similar field is preferred</li></ul> License/Certification <ul><li>Preferred: No specific certifications required</li><li>Any relevant certifications in maintenance, safety, or facilities operations are a plus</li></ul> Working Conditions:<ul><li>Occasional exposure to environmental conditions such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, and chemicals</li></ul> Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:<ul><li>Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Ability to follow established work routines and procedures</li><li>Basic verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a proactive mindset</li><li>Ability to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes</li><li>Reliable and dependable, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team</li></ul><ul></ul> Disclaimer:CBRE Government and Defense is thrilled at the opportunity for you to apply to one of our roles.
