Essential Functions <ul><li>Responsible for providing efficient guest service to all VLT guests and ensuring VLT machines are monitored on a continual basis for operation at maximum efficiency.</li><li>Actively patrols assigned sections looking for opportunities to surprise and delight guests</li><li>Enhances guest’s VLT entertainment experience by creating a fun, high-energy environment through the celebration of VLT wins and building players’ perception of luck.</li><li>Displays attentive, upbeat, and enthusiastic behavior during each and every interaction throughout the shift.</li><li>Develops customer loyalty by delivering unparalleled guest interactions as directed by company trained initiatives.</li><li>Clearly communicates functionality of VLT Floor (i.e. Fast Cash - ticket in/ticket out).</li><li>Responds to the right customers in the right order for service requests including VLT dispatch, VLT candle lights, radio, and customers while meeting or exceeding department service standards.</li><li>Verifies and countersigns hand paid jackpots.</li><li>Resolves guest complaints through the use of Service Recovery with a sense of urgency and empathy with approved levels of authority.</li><li>Keeps VLT areas clean, secure, and well maintained</li><li>Corrects minor machine malfunctions including coin jams, printer errors, bill validators, VLT light repairs.</li><li>Participates in VLT machine upgrades and implementing new initiatives.</li><li>Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner, including those pertaining to federal and state regulator laws and guidelines and ensures required gaming licenses are valid and up-to-date.</li><li>Maintains monetary and paperwork accuracy within department standards.</li><li>Accurately pays jackpots; performs buy-in transactions with VLT players; counts down and reconciles bank/wallet at end of shift.</li><li>Promotes and cross sells JACK brand amenities and property events.</li><li>Increases customer base by opening new accounts through cross-selling and promoting JACK Rewards.</li><li>Actively stays informed of continually changing promotional events and services.</li><li>Maintains in-depth game knowledge and proactively explains games to customers.</li><li>Offers participation in high-energy, team building “Buzz” sessions to exchange information on property events and to improve guest service and department survey scores.</li><li>Ensures compliance of state mandated age restrictions through the support of “Project 21”.</li><li>Endorses the business objectives, ethics and values of JACK Entertainment.       Acts in accordance with the Code of Commitment.</li><li>Partners with other departments and functions to understand and promote property-wide initiatives and programs.</li></ul> Knowledge, Skills & Abilities<ul><li>Must possess basic data entry/computer skills.</li><li>Must possess basic math skills.</li><li>Previous money handling experience preferred.</li><li>Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.</li><li>Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and employees.</li><li>Must be willing to work non-traditional days and hours.</li><li>Must present a well-groomed and professional appearance.</li><li>Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry.      </li><li>Must be able to turn key constantly.</li><li>Must be able to stand, walk and maneuver around Racino VLT area for long periods of time.</li><li>Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel and twist.      </li><li>Must be able to handle a stressful environment, tolerate bright lights and high noise levels.</li><li>Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds. </li></ul>Education and Experience<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>Previous money handling experience preferred.</li></ul>Required Certification/License <ul><li>Must be able to obtain an Ohio Lottery Commission license</li></ul>
