The Senior Director is also responsible for staff supervision, community development, student conduct, leadership development, selection and ongoing training of resident assistants, programming, faculty recruitment and engagement in residence life, budget oversight, staff development, establishment of structures, policies, and basic operations for the department, assessment, managing Stevens Dining, liaising with dining vendor/consultant, and the development of ongoing partnerships with students, faculty, colleagues, and families to achieve the goals of Residence Life. Under the leadership and guidance of the Senior Director, the Office of Residence Life provides a broad range of student development functions to create safe, supportive, and inclusive living learning environments that engage students in furthering their academic success, personal growth, leadership development, and commitment to social responsibility and community engagement.
