The Pittsburgh Paints Company is looking for a motivated Part-Time Field Sales Representative to grow our Glidden business within a Home Depot territory. In this role, you’ll work directly with contractors, DIY customers, and Home Depot teams to increase product sales and expand business in your territory. You will work onsite in the Miami, Florida territory and report to the Regional Manager.  Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Generate new business by engaging Pro contractors and DIY customers in Home Depot stores  </li></ul><ul><li>Build strong relationships with Home Depot store leadership and associates  </li></ul><ul><li>Train store teams on Glidden and Olympic paint products  </li></ul><ul><li>Identify sales opportunities and grow accounts within your territory  </li></ul><ul><li>Use CRM tools to track activity and manage your territory  </li></ul>Qualifications: <ul><li>High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred  </li></ul><ul><li>Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record  </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. </li></ul><ul><li>Sales, retail, or customer service experience preferred  </li></ul><ul><li>Bilingual - English/Spanish Preferred </li></ul>The starting hourly rate for this position is $17 with incentives.  Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship (now or in the future). On occasion you may have the opportunity to work with other products from other companies in the stores that you service.  SALARY AND SCHEDULE DETAILS<ul><li>Your starting hourly pay rate will be $14.00 to $16.00 depending on your skills and experience.</li><li>We provide paid training, delivered through live, hands-on instruction as well as virtual classroom training.</li><li>Hallmark part time employees are offered voluntary benefits that include medical, dental, vision etc.  </li><li>Eligible Employees receive annual pay increases.</li><li>This is a Part-Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.</li><li>Average weekly hours for this position are between 8-15 hours per week.</li><li>Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends is required.  </li><li>Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.</li></ul>YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE  You'll perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The retail merchandiser position consists of three major components:<ol><li>Day-to-day engagement: Utilizing a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you'll restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department.  The use of technology is critical in this role, for the day-to-day work as well as communication with your supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and answering surveys for required merchandising activities. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is also vital for success in this role.  You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores. </li><li>Holiday support: Hallmark's operations revolve around seasonal demand. Leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, you can expect additional days and extended hours during the work week. On occasions like Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Father's Day, you may be required to work on the actual holiday itself, which may include the weekend.</li><li>Department Resets: At times, you may be part of a team responsible for installations and various tasks like building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, as well as resetting card sections. Typically, you will be notified two weeks in advance for remodel assignments. This could include evenings or weekend.</li><li>One Team Vision:  As part of Hallmark's field organization, you are part of a network of merchandisers professionals that often times will support other team members as needed in their territories.  </li></ol>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThis is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You will be working on the selling floor as well as in back stockrooms. You must be able to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion. Pick up litter from parking lot, entrance area (swept as needed) ashtrays kept clean, and front door free of fingerprints and dirt, entry directory and booth glass.</li><li>Keep memos, Log books, records, etc., in order and updated at all times (Recreation room, warning violations, Cabana, etc.)</li><li>Be familiar with “Post Orders” (Gate House procedures) from the Security personnel as you must coordinate with them to relieve them for breaks.</li><li>Follow all “receiving” policies and procedures without any exceptions. Follow all procedures regarding packages/correspondence delivered to the community for residences. All phone calls made to residents should be clear and in a professional manner.</li><li>Direct all inquiries regarding all Association affairs to the management office.</li><li>Report any violations of the Rules and Regulations that are notice at any time.</li><li>Report any and all maintenance items which include, but not limited to, burned out lights, leaks, broken equipment to the Association office daily.</li><li>Receive all telephone calls in a professional manner utilizing proper phone etiquette.</li><li>Maintain the valet office area in a professional and a presentable condition.</li><li>Control the service elevator keys on move ins/outs and deliveries</li><li>Control the valet carts where they are and who are using them. Must be locked at all times.</li><li>Follow all standards policies and procedures with regards to emergency response by coordinating with Management, Chief Engineer, or Fire Rescue / Police services.</li><li>Be familiar with the fire alarm system operations and report all incidents to management.</li></ul>Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis position maybe full time or part time.
