This role ensures that facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and responding to service requests in a timely manner. ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but not limited to)<ul><li>Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems</li><li>Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, implementing corrective actions for cranes, press brakes, lasers, welders, and related machinery.</li><li>Repair or replace faulty components such as lighting, fixtures, doors, and flooring</li><li>Conduct minor carpentry, painting, and general building upkeep tasks</li><li>Execute scheduled preventative maintenance programs for equipment and systems</li><li>Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records</li><li>Inspect facilities regularly to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards</li><li>Monitor and maintain building systems to ensure efficient operation</li><li>Assist with setting up and teardown of equipment or spaces for events or operational needs</li><li>Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or services</li><li>Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and company safety policies</li><li>Identify hazards and implement corrective or preventative measures</li><li>Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations   </li></ul> QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>High school diploma or GED required</li><li>Technical certification or associate degree in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field preferred</li><li>2–5 years of experience in building maintenance or a similar role</li><li>Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems</li><li>Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively</li><li>Basic computer skills for work order systems and documentation</li><li>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities</li><li>Good communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively</li><li>Attention to detail and commitment to safety</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds</li><li>Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing ladders</li><li>Ability to work in various environmental conditions (heat, cold, confined spaces)</li><li>Comfortable working indoors and outdoors</li></ul> PREFERRED SKILLS<ul><li>Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems, including troubleshooting and basic repair</li><li>Electrical troubleshooting (low-to-medium voltage systems)</li><li>Plumbing repair experience</li></ul> LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIESThis position does not have leadership responsibilities. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTSTravel as needed between Wisconsin and Iowa facilities. At Robinson, we value professionalism, expertise, and a dedication to craftsmanship.
