SUMMARYThe Facilities Maintenance Team Leader will be responsible for coordinating and executing all aspects of facility maintenance, repair, and improvement projects. This individual will lead a team of maintenance technicians and ensure that our facilities meet safety, regulatory, and operational standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.  <ul><li>Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and monitoring performance to ensure high-quality work. Ensuring multiple projects are executed and managed timely.</li><li>Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime, extend equipment lifespan, and optimize facility operations.</li><li>Coordinate and prioritize maintenance requests, responding promptly to emergencies and addressing urgent issues to minimize disruption to operations.</li><li>Conduct regular inspections of facilities, identifying maintenance needs, safety hazards, and opportunities for improvement.</li><li>Oversee routine maintenance tasks, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, building structures, and grounds maintenance.</li><li>Initiate the bid process/quotes for necessary outside vendor work performed. Draft and submit CAR’s.</li><li>Assist in justification and ROI analysis including documentation.</li><li>Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs, renovations, and equipment installations.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and work orders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.</li><li>Monitor budget allocations and expenses related to facility maintenance, seeking cost-effective solutions and identifying areas for improvement.</li><li>Implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for employees and compliance with regulatory standards.</li><li>Collaborate with other departments, such as operations, safety, and procurement, to support company goals and initiatives.</li></ul>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESLeads the Facilities Maintenance Department Technicians. Carries out frontline leader responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include technical direction of Maintenance Associates. Works with the Manager to make recommendations for associate performance appraisals and improvements, rewards and discipline and addressing complaints/resolving problems immediately.  QUALIFICATIONS  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
