Job SummaryThis position performs routine custodial and grounds maintenance duties to maintain clean, safe, and well-kept interior and exterior facilities in accordance with established procedures and company standards.Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 11:00am Primary Job Functions<ul><li>Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas of the building designated by the supervisor.</li><li>Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.</li><li>Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.</li><li>Dust furniture, walls, and equipment which includes moving and rearranging furniture.</li><li>Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.</li><li>Ensure that cleaning supplies are in a safe, secure area at all times.</li><li>Complete standardized cleaning process as per company standards.</li><li>Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.</li><li>Attend all regular staff meetings and required in-service training sessions.</li><li>Follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.</li><li>Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.</li><li>Cuts grass, using walking-type or riding mowers (less than 2000 lbs.).</li><li>Trims hedges and edges around walks, flower beds, and wells, using hedge trimmers, clippers and edging tools.</li><li>Prunes shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth, using shears and other hand tools.</li><li>Sprays lawn, shrubs and trees with fertilizer or insecticide.</li><li>Plants grass, flowers, trees and shrubs.</li><li>Waters lawn and shrubs during dry periods, using hose or activating sprinkler system.</li><li>Pick up and dispose of leaves, paper or other litter.</li><li>May clean comfort stations, office and workshop areas, and parking lots by sweeping, washing, mopping and polishing.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul> Education, Experience and Certification <ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent required with 2 years of job-related experience.</li></ul> Working Conditions<ul><li>Occasional exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, etc. </li></ul> Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities<ul><li>Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and moving furniture. </li><li>Ability to follow basic work routines.</li><li>Ability to communicate.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.</li><li>Ability to efficiently complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.</li></ul> DisclaimerCBRE Government and Defense is thrilled at the opportunity for you to apply to one of our roles.
