Required Qualifications:** + High School Diploma/GED + 1+ years of computer proficiency experience (multitasking through multiple applications including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word) + 1+ years of customer service or healthcare experience + Ability to travel to other locations if needed for coverage purposes **Preferred Qualifications:** + 1+ years of experience working knowledge of Epic EMR software + 1+ years of experience working in a medical office position performing duties such as scheduling appointments, checking patients in/out, and insurance verification or Healthcare experience + Experience taking inbound and making outbound calls **Soft Skills:** + Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment + Ability to work cohesively with a diverse team + Strong organizational and time management skills + Ability to work independently or in a team setting as directed + Ability to maintain good judgment and accountability + Demonstrated ability to work well with health care providers and clinical team + Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet all deadlines + Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak clearly and concisely, conveying information in a manner that others can understand, as well as ability to understand and interpret information from others Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. **Location** : **3927 Rucker Ave., second or third floor, Everett, WA 98201** **Primary Responsibilities:** + Greet customers into practice and provide instruction and/or direction as necessary both on the phone and in person + Obtain accurate and updated patient information, such as name, address, insurance information + Perform insurance verification on the date of service + Follow the payment Security policy and procedures according to Optum Medical guidelines + Answers incoming phone calls in a courteous and prompt manner; directs calls and takes messages + Ability to maintain a work queue list- complete any pending actions ie insurance eligibility + Obtain patient signatures for required documents + Upload a valid Government issued state ID of patient and patient insurance cards + Schedule and coordinate all patient appointments as directed + Maintain an organized and clean work area, free of clutter + Prepare all documentation and records with accuracy as directed or necessary for the patient's care + Meet or exceed the performance measures established by the Practice Management Dept.
