As the Healthcare Manager, you’ll lead a team dedicated to delivering nutritious, comforting meals with genuine care. This position blends operational oversight and clinical responsibilities, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards while fostering a positive environment for residents, guests, and staff. What You'll Do<ul><li style="vertical-align:middle">Collaborate with the Director, Chef, and Registered Dietitian to develop menus that meet nutritional standards and accommodate therapeutic diets.</li><li style="vertical-align:middle">Perform clinical charting per Thomas Cuisine standards, including food preferences, low-risk documentation, and participation in QAPI processes.</li><li style="vertical-align:middle">Supervise, train, and schedule dietary staff, fostering a collaborative, resident-focused environment.</li><li style="vertical-align:middle">Act as subject matter expert on therapeutic and mechanically altered diets in the absence of the RD.</li><li style="vertical-align:middle">Ensure compliance with CMS, OBRA, HACCP, and all federal, state, and local regulations for food safety and sanitation.</li><li style="vertical-align:middle">Engage with residents, families, and healthcare teams to assess dietary needs and enhance satisfaction through feedback and care plan reviews.</li><li style="vertical-align:middle">Support community programming such as Cultivate Kitchen and lifestyle events.</li><li style="vertical-align:middle">Manage food and supply inventories, control costs, and maintain budget compliance.</li><li style="vertical-align:middle">Conduct inspections, monitor food safety practices, and maintain documentation for audits and compliance.</li><li style="vertical-align:middle">Introduce innovative dining programs and wellness initiatives to promote health and engagement.</li><li style="vertical-align:middle">Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul> **This position requires up to 40% clinical support and 60% operational oversight. What You Will Bring<ul><li style="vertical-align:middle">Certified Dietary Manager (CDM, CFPP) credential required; DTR or RD preferred</li><li style="vertical-align:middle">Minimum 2–3 years of foodservice management experience in healthcare, senior living, or CCRC setting</li><li style="vertical-align:middle">Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills</li><li style="vertical-align:middle">Proficiency in nutrient analysis, menu planning, EMR systems, menu management systems, and Microsoft 365 (including Teams)</li><li style="vertical-align:middle">Knowledge of therapeutic diets and senior nutrition</li><li style="vertical-align:middle">Ability to maintain annual CEU requirements and log credits with ANFP</li><li style="vertical-align:middle">Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed</li><li style="vertical-align:middle">ServSafe® and/or State Food Handler Certification</li><li style="vertical-align:middle">Successful background check, drug screen, and health/TB tests (state-specific)</li></ul> Physical and Sensory Requirements<ul><li style="vertical-align:middle">This job involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and a kitchen environment with fumes, airborne particles, and moderate noise.
