<p><strong>About the Job:</strong><br/>Denny’s is hiring Short Order Cooks for multiple restaurant locations. As a short order cook, line cook, grill cook, or breakfast cook, you’ll be the one making sure plates hit the table hot, fresh, and on time. This isn’t a station gig—you’ll be cooking whole meals and coordinating multiple tickets at once to keep the kitchen flowing. <p><strong>Flexible schedule, full and part time options available.</strong></p><p><strong>***We will be offering a $10,000 sign on bonus for full time position***</strong></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p><p>· Assesses patient condition, establishes goals, treatments, and care plans in conjunction with the physician, patient/family.</p><p>· Ensures that appropriate treatment is performed in an interdisciplinary fashion, consulting with physicians about the</p><p>· impact of physical therapy factors on the patient’s health status.</p><p>· Documents findings, treatments, and other patient information for the medical record.</p><p>· Educates patient/family on appropriate care and use of various therapies/exercises.</p><p>· Serves as information/education resource for patients, families, and staff.</p><p>· Supervises Physical Therapy Assistants and Physical Therapy Technicians.</p><p>· Serves as a resource to Physical Therapy staff.</p><p>· Provides ongoing education to the Physical Therapy staff.</p><p>· Assists the director with patient care issues.</p><p>· Maintains patient confidentiality.</p><p>· The job holder must demonstrate current competencies for the job position.</p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><p><strong>Education</strong>: Requires a master’s degree and current certification as a physical therapist</p><p><strong>Certification:</strong> Current Florida state license</p><p><strong>Experience:</strong> Two years of experience in an out-patient physical therapy clinic. Experience with orthopedics is preferred</p><p><strong>SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE:</strong></p><p>· Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and applications.</p><p>· Knowledge of clinic policies, procedures, regulations, safety/infection control, quality control.</p><p>· Knowledge of how to use physical therapy equipment.</p><p>· Knowledge of medical terminology.</p><p>· Skill in appropriate evaluation and treatment of patients.</p><p>· Skill in effectively communicating with in-house as well as external physicians and referral sources.</p><p>· Skill in using a computer system/EMR to accurately reproduce all appropriate documentation.</p><p>· Skill in accurate recognition of patient/clinic danger and appropriate fall risk patients.</p><p><strong>ABILITIES:</strong></p><p>· Ability to establish/maintain effective working relationships with patients, providers, and staff.</p><p>· Ability to supervise and mentor physical therapy staff.</p><p>· Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written form.</p><p>· Ability to be a resource to patients and staff.</p><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><p>· Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment.</p><p>· Some bending and stretching are required.</p><p>· Manual dexterity using a calculator and computer keyboard.</p><p>· Requires occasional support all size patients in transfers.</p><p>· Ability to lift 50 lbs. Demands of kneeling, squatting, overhead lifting.</p>
