We’re seeking a compassionate Patient Transporter to provide essential transportation support for our patients during their recovery journey. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring patients travel safely from pickup to their necessary destinations.Position Details:<ul><li>Reporting to: Director of Operations</li><li>Schedule: Part-Time, Monday-Wednesday, 8 AM-4 PM</li><li>Location: Gulf Breeze, FL (On-site + Travel)</li></ul>Personal Characteristics:<ul><li>Empathetic and Compassionate: You connect with patients in a respectful, understanding manner.</li><li>Responsible and Safety-Conscious: You prioritize safety and maintain focus during all transport activities.</li><li>Adaptable and Dependable: You adjust to changing schedules and remain reliable in high-pressure situations.</li><li>Communicative and Professional: You communicate clearly with patients and staff, ensuring seamless coordination.</li></ul>Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Patient Transportation: Safely transport patients to and from the Gulf Breeze, FL facility.</li><li>Vehicle Maintenance: Operate a company-provided vehicle responsibly, including completing maintaining cleanliness, and promptly reporting maintenance or safety concerns.</li><li>Safety and Professionalism: Maintain a secure and professional environment during transport, adhering to all policies and protocols.</li><li>Patient Interaction: Demonstrate empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients, providing reassurance and support as needed.</li><li>Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with staff to coordinate patient schedules and report any concerns.</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>HS Diploma/GED or equivalent.</li><li>Valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record for the last 3 years.</li><li>Must be at least 23 years of age to comply with motor vehicle insurance requirements.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.</li><li>Knowledge of patient safety and confidentiality standards.</li><li>Relevant certifications in CPR or first aid are a plus.</li></ul>Why Join Banyan Treatment Centers?This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within an organization that stands as a nationally recognized leader in addiction and mental health care.
