<h3>Xanitos is hiring Part Time Patient Sitters for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift at UPMC Altoona in Altoona, PA. </h3><ul><li>No Medical Experience Required!</li><li>1st Shift 7:00AM-3:30PM</li><li>2nd Shift 3:00PM-11:30PM</li><li>3rd shift - 11:00PM - 7:30AM</li><li>Casual positions (8hr shift) flexible schedule available</li><li>Pay $14.50 per hour</li><li>Help save lives and join our team!</li></ul>Job Overview:Responsible for providing patient visual and audible observation of assigned patients with the alignment of a Registered Nurse (RN) and directed by the Xanitos Leadership team by completing the following duties.Daily Responsibilities:· Tasked to monitor both visually and audibly the assigned patient’s condition and behavior at all times.· Remains at the bedside of assigned patient at all times, unless relieved by an appropriate staff member.· Verbally redirects the patient from participating in at risk behaviors.· Completes observation reports at the assigned times.· Takes initiative in compassionately rendering service or responding to needs. Interacts hospitably, cheerfully, and supportively with staff, patients, visitors, and work colleagues.· Immediately summons the nursing staff if the patient requires assistance, control, or other nursing interventions or exhibits unusual behavior or verbalizations. Immediately reports any potentially dangerous behavior or concerning conversations to the nurse.· Collaborates to identify and report patient safety issues. Assures patient environment is safe, reporting any safety hazards to the charge nurse. Removes visible hazards and reports, as appropriate.· Assists in calming and/or reorienting patient in cases of distress, or confusion.· Assists with keeping patient's room, safe and in an orderly fashion at all times.· Escorts patient when diagnostic testing is required.· Participates in hand-off of pertinent information/behavior about assigned patient when arriving on unit and upon completion of shift assignment. Honors department’s attendance, break, behavior, dress, personal hygiene, and safety codes.· Follows all confidentiality and other regulatory requirements.· Complies with all department and hospital educational programs.· Always behaves in a Professional manner.· Assists other associates, as necessary. Responds to direction as provided.· Maintains all Xanitos company standards.· Complies with facility confidentiality and patient’s rights policy as outlined in the facilities HIPAA policies and procedures.· Other duties may be assigned.Job Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty adequately. To learn more about out business lines, visit our website: <a href="https://www.homebyames.com/en-us/" rel="noopener nofollow noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.homebyames.com/en-us/.</a> WHO YOU ARE Our Part Time Technical Operator on 1st shift (Tues-Thurs, 6am-2:30pm) is a skilled position to produce lawn and garden tools and components.  This wood cell position is also responsible for ensuring ample coverage to meet quality standards by monitoring line and associates tending line for ideal production rates and for ensuring all safety, environmental and scrapping procedures are followed.WHERE YOU WILL WORK  Our woodmill is located in McClure, PA.   RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrate the understanding of all required paperwork to include but not limited to the Bill of Materials (BOM), Hour x Hour sheet, basic tool prints, communication boards, standard work documents, and quality visuals.Demonstrate the capability to meet or exceed established production rates and standards.Perform operator fundamentals including simple problem-solving including ability to clear routine machine jams, identify and fix routine/repetitive problems, notify appropriate support person if unable to resolve problem themselves.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Regularly perform primarily pre-scheduled job duties at a normal pace; occasionally perform primarily pre-scheduled job duties at a rapid pace.Follow the required standard work and achieve the published standard work goals.Participating in continuous improvement through cost savings suggestions, CI Events, or other related activities.Work and communicate in a professional manner with all business associates.Must comply with all safety policies and procedures, including, but not limited to wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE).Other duties as assigned (including, but not limited to, training of others within job class, housekeeping, reporting labor & production, continuous improvement activities, etc.).Perform changeovers as required to adjust ruffing head, Sicotte, sanding operation, UV operations and inspection stage.Audit material, components, and work instructions for assigned cells and areas are correct and available as needed to assure maximum uptime of production.Assure products are produced meeting all quality expectations.Perform a minimum of five changeovers in a minimum of two different product cells within current time standards.Complete to routine complex set-ups involving multiple interdependent adjustments and/or simple infrequent set-ups in a timely manner.Implement 3 diameter changes, 10 non-diameter changes tied to standard work within 90 days.Perform tolerance checks and read blueprints.Complete routine troubleshooting/problem solving and/or preventative maintenance (including, but not limited to, understanding all machine controls, ability to identify and fix the source of most production problems and address rework as necessary.Follow all policies and procedures.REQUIREMENTSMust be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence.Lock-Out/Tag-Out certification.Pass and maintain current industrial forklift & man lift certifications.Personal protective equipment.ENVIRONMENTAL/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
