Assists the prescriber in completion of various medical forms, (i.e. return to work, school forms, DOT, worker’s compensation, insurance prior authorization, etc.) Communicates and/or completes provider orders to outside sources (i.e. pharmacy, other clinics, hospitals, nursing homes, etc. Ability to effectively communicate, verbally, orally and in writing, in person and telephonically, with co-workers, physicians/nurse practitioners, patients and patients’ families, must interact well with co-workers.
