Demonstrates knowledge of and documented competencies in all principles and aspects of "clean" handling and sterilization; including infectious disease transmission and prevention thereof, appropriate use of PPE and adherence to dress code, routine inspection, testing, proper preparation, proper selection of packaging and sterilizing procedures, necessary equipment operations, and safety measures. Attention to detail; ability to consistently adhere to defined processes and manufacturers' instructions for use; ability to work efficiently with frequent interruptions while supporting the supply needs of the hospital with primary focus on the OR; ability to effectively communicate with staff and department stakeholders.
