Work collaboratively with senior litigators to develop litigation strategy for the defense of medical malpractice actions; Draft and review pleadings and discovery, memos, briefs and other legal correspondence and litigation documents; Analysis of medical records; In-person appearances at court conferences and client meetings throughout Westchester, Putnam, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan and Rockland Counties; Participate in depositions, conferences, hearings and all other aspects of medical malpractice litigation; Interact with medical experts; Conduct legal and medical research and analysis; Draft motions; Work cooperatively with others; and. Strong legal research, writing and verbal communication skills; Ability to interact with clients and command client confidence; Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects; Excellent organizational and time management skills; Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.
