Assist with preoperative patient intake and preparation within the scope of practice, including preparing patient care areas, obtaining and documenting assigned clinical information, verifying required documentation, and supporting efficient patient flow. Utilize the electronic medical record to document assigned patient care activities, print labels, enter laboratory information, and verify appropriate orders are in place Utilize daily logs, patient records, and appropriate outside laboratory forms.
