On occasion you may have the opportunity to work with other products from other companies in the stores that you service.  SALARY AND SCHEDULE DETAILS<ul><li>Your starting hourly pay rate will be $14.75 to $15.75 depending on your skills and experience.</li><li>We provide paid training, delivered through live, hands-on instruction as well as virtual classroom training.</li><li>Hallmark part time employees are offered voluntary benefits that include medical, dental, vision etc.  </li><li>Eligible Employees receive annual pay increases.</li><li>This is a Part-Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.</li><li>Average weekly hours for this position are between 2 - 8 hours per week.</li><li>Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends is required.  </li><li>Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.</li></ul>YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE  You'll perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is also vital for success in this role.  You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores. </li><li>Holiday support: Hallmark's operations revolve around seasonal demand. Leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, you can expect additional days and extended hours during the work week. On occasions like Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Father's Day, you may be required to work on the actual holiday itself, which may include the weekend.</li><li>Department Resets: At times, you may be part of a team responsible for installations and various tasks like building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, as well as resetting card sections. Typically, you will be notified two weeks in advance for remodel assignments. This could include evenings or weekend.</li><li>One Team Vision:  As part of Hallmark's field organization, you are part of a network of merchandisers professionals that often times will support other team members as needed in their territories.  </li></ol>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThis is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You will be working on the selling floor as well as in back stockrooms. You must be able to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion. This position is responsible for providing the overall maintenance and repair of a residential property including interior and exterior grounds and equipment. Follow CSM high standards of quality to ensure resident satisfaction. • Responsible for maintaining the overall condition and cleanliness of the maintenance shop and residential property. • Executes and documents the preventive maintenance program for resident units, common areas, hallways, garages, grounds, pool, clubhouse, and equipment. • Maintain property appearance, snow removal (including shoveling, salting, sanding, and ice removal), upkeep/curb appeal to ensure competitiveness within the industry, attract future residents and provide a welcoming environment to current residents. • Complete work orders and turnover maintenance needs on a timely basis. Provide quick response to emergency after-hour calls as necessary. • Responsible for proper use and safeguarding of all maintenance equipment and supplies, and adheres to cost controls to reduce expenses and waste. • Follow CSM procurement guidelines and applies good business judgment when purchasing supplies. Responsible for maintaining maintenance budget and adhere to purchase card guidelines. • Maintain accountability for all necessary inventory, supplies, tools and equipment. • Ensure resident satisfaction by adhering to maintenance service and loss-prevention standards including preventative maintenance. • Ensure that residents’ needs are responded to in a courteous, friendly and timely manner. • Work as a team player in meeting resident needs, and actively contribute to the efforts of other areas when necessary. • May be required to attend residential community activities after normal business hours as requested by the Community Manager. • Mitigate risk by conducting routine inspections of community property and grounds, to maintain standards per CSM, local, state and federal regulations including AWAIR program. • Operate all equipment following safe and proper procedures. Follow all CSM procedures for resident/associate incidents. • Knowledgeable of property emergency procedures. • Need to be available to assist as needed in any natural/catastrophic disaster. • Ensure a clean and safe work environment, and follow all CSM procedures for resident/employee incidents. • Produce required volume of work by planning, organizing and prioritizing work duties. • Adhere to CSM attendance policy, grooming/appearance/dress code standards, and general work rules and department procedures. Attend all required meetings. • Adhere to all CSM Standard Operating Procedures and Fair Housing laws. Competencies/Skills Required: 2+ years of maintenance experience is preferred. Attention to detail, customer focused and the ability to perform job duties in a fast paced environment. General computer experience preferred. Current and valid driver’s license with safe driving record required. Education: High School diploma or GED required.
