Responsible for assisting the physician in providing direct patient care and health teaching designed to meet the age/developmental specific needs of the health care patients. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, Venipuncture, Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).

Job Description: <ul><li>Responsible for assisting the physician in providing direct patient care and health teaching designed to meet the age/developmental specific needs of the health care patients.</li><li>Provide nursing care to pregnant patients with high-risk conditions (e.g., preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, multiple gestations).</li><li>Perform comprehensive maternal and fetal assessments, including vital signs, fetal monitoring, and patient history.</li><li>Assist MFM physicians during examinations and diagnostic procedures such as ultrasounds, amniocentesis, and non-stress tests (NSTs).</li><li>Educate patients and families on pregnancy complications, treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle modifications.</li><li>Coordinate patient care across specialties, including OB/GYN, neonatology, endocrinology, and primary care etc.</li><li>Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes in condition to providers.</li><li>Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, Venipuncture,</li><li>Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).</li><li>Provide emotional support and counseling resources to patients dealing with high-risk pregnancies.</li><li>Maintain infection control and patient safety standards.</li><li>Delivers quality care by offering excellent customer service by participating in a team centered approach towards patient care.</li><li>Proficiency in order entry, Excellent PC Skills</li><li> Utilizing knowledge of office policy and procedure</li><li> Verification of patient demographics, Patient record filing and retention</li><li> Verification of physician orders, Schedule appointments and referrals</li><li>Billing and payments,</li><li>Maintain Office Supplies</li><li>Meet and greet patients</li><li>Preparation of patient exam </li><li>HIPAA Compliance</li><li>Other tasks as assigned </li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li><div>Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing </div></li><li>Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of Texas Required</li><li>Possess exceptional communication skills, critical thinking skills, and independent decision-making skills.</li><li>MFM/OB Experience: Preferred</li><li>BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)</li></ul>
