Required Skills/Experience: Involves patient and/or significant others in decisions regarding care, assesses educational needs and learning abilities, documents care plans and interventions, performs effective patient hand-offs, facilitates communication within multidisciplinary teams, stays updated on unit communications, makes rounds with physicians, and participates in process improvement activities. This role involves providing patient-centered care in a surgical and outpatient setting with a focus on pre-operative and post-anesthesia care.
