The On-site Associate is responsible for ensuring the attainment of sales goals by providing excellent customer service. This also ensures that the branch office has all the tools and infrastructure needed to keep it in working order. Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of aerospace, defense industrial and commercial products: Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders. Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of aerospace, defense industrial and commercial products: Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.</li><li>Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.</li><li>Schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.</li><li>Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers.</li><li>Prepares reports detailing anticipated production goals</li><li>Perform time studies of product lines.</li><li>Communicate with production supervisors and managers on schedule status.</li><li>Develop plans for streamlining processes.</li><li>Converts high-level schedule into detail schedules, material requirement's lists, and production plans for work centers.</li><li>Issues work instructions to manufacturing team</li><li>Expedites daily work through the manufacturing centers in a highly dynamic aerospace manufacturing environment.</li><li>Analyzes capacity with Manufacturing management</li><li>Advises management of production status and potential problems to ensure labor, tools, equipment, and services are provided as needed.</li><li>Coordinates with other internal departments to expedite the movement of parts.</li><li>Works with Engineering to develop tools and procedures to maximize facility and equipment utilization.</li><li>Identifies methods to ensure products meet Master Schedule requirements</li><li>Hands-on shop floor.</li></ul>Education and Experience:<ul><li>BS degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering or equivalent.</li><li>Scheduling or program management experience in a manufacturing aerospace environment is strongly preferred.</li><li>Scheduling or program management experience in a manufacturing aerospace environment is strongly preferred.</li><li>Minimum 3 years of inventory and production control experience or directly related experience.</li><li>Working knowledge of manufacturing, procurement, quality basics, engineering flows, and reading prints.</li><li>Experience with creating production schedules and loading into ERP system in a machining manufacturing environment (aerospace environment required).</li><li>Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.</li><li>Experience modifying production schedules for increased efficiency.</li><li>Experience tracking, reporting and presenting status.</li><li>Must possess strong interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively and work with leaders, peers, and others as required.</li><li>Computer knowledge Microsoft Office including Excel, MS Project (preferred)as well as the Internet Production Scheduling.</li><li>ERP Systems.</li><li>Capacity planning, (level loading, kanban, etc...)</li><li>Strong customer service orientation.</li><li>Demonstrated abilities to organize with strong attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Must be a U.S. person per ITAR (22 CPR 120.15)</li></ul> <ul><li/></ul>
