<h4>Freeze Dryer Production Technician</h4><p>We are looking for a Freeze Dryer Production Technician to join our production team in Sioux Falls, SD. This hands-on role supports the production of freeze-drying equipment by assembling mechanical and electrical components, wiring, testing, troubleshooting production issues, preparing parts and materials, and getting finished units ready for shipment.</p><p>This is a good fit for someone with mechanical and/or electrical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and experience in assembly, manufacturing, production, or a similar hands-on work environment.</p><h4>What You’ll Do</h4><ul><li>Assemble freeze dryer units, subassemblies, and related components using work instructions, drawings, diagrams, and production specifications.</li><li>Perform mechanical assembly, wiring, fitting, component installation, and related production tasks.</li><li>Assist with testing, inspection, quality checks, and troubleshooting of freeze dryer units and related equipment.</li><li>Kit, stage, organize, and prepare parts and materials for production, shipment, and customer orders.</li><li>Use hand tools, power tools, measuring tools, production equipment, and material-handling equipment safely and appropriately.</li><li>Load, unload, and prepare completed units, components, and equipment for shipment.</li><li>Work with quality, engineering, and startup team members to help resolve assembly, testing, or equipment issues.</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.</li><li>Occasionally assist with customer-site installations.</li></ul><h4>What We’re Looking For</h4><p>Required:</p><ul><li>Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, production, or a similar hands-on work environment.</li><li>Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.</li><li>Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, drawings, diagrams, work orders, and production specifications.</li></ul><p>Preferred:</p><ul><li>Forklift certification.</li><li>Troubleshooting experience with wiring, electronics, or control components.</li><li>Mechanical assembly experience with industrial equipment, production equipment, or machinery.</li><li>Machining, fabrication, equipment repair, production equipment operation, warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, or kitting experience.</li></ul><h4>Physical Requirements</h4><ul><li>Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds with assistance occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.</li><li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, kneel, squat, push, pull, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.</li><li>Ability to perform hands-on assembly, wiring, testing, troubleshooting, material handling, and equipment movement as required.</li></ul><h4>Why You’ll Like Working Here</h4><ul><li>Receive nine paid holidays, including your birthday.</li><li>Use additional PTO to rest, recharge, and take care of life outside of work.</li><li>Build your future with a 401(k) that includes an employer match.</li><li>Access health, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family.</li><li>Receive reimbursement for safety shoes and prescription safety glasses.</li><li>Company-paid life insurance and short-term disability coverage are provided.</li></ul><h4>Position Details</h4><p>Location: Sioux Falls, SD<br/>Schedule: Full-time, Weekdays<br/>Status: Non-exempt<br/>Travel: Occasional, less than 10%<br/>Drug Testing Required: Yes<br/>Background Check Required: Yes</p>
