The unit provides inpatient oncology nursing care specializing in chemotherapy administration, central access devices, complex post-operative nursing care, infusion services, and the management of immunosuppressed patients. Patients receiving vasoactive and/or anti-arrhythmic medications requiring cardiac monitoring can be accommodated; if such medications require titration, patients will be moved to a higher level of care.
