For more information on our philosophy and services, please tour our website www.jfsla.org </p><p style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:15px;font-family:'calibri' , sans-serif;line-height:1"><br/></p><p style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:15px;font-family:'calibri' , sans-serif;line-height:1">The Meal Service Coordinator assures that participants receive appetizing and safe food, either onsite or at home.</p><p style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:15px;font-family:'calibri' , sans-serif;line-height:1"><br/></p><p style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:15px;font-family:'calibri' , sans-serif;line-height:1"><strong><u>Qualifications:</u></strong><strong>  </strong></p><ul><li style="font-family:'tahoma' , sans-serif;font-size:16px">Customer Service Oriented</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma' , sans-serif;font-size:16px">Current unrestricted CA Driver’s License and proof of auto insurance and clean driving record</li></ul><ul><li style="font-family:'tahoma' , sans-serif;font-size:16px">Must have valid CA driver’s license and proof of Insurance</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma' , sans-serif;font-size:16px">Travel to multiple work sites may be required</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma' , sans-serif;font-size:16px">Experience working with the elderly or in social service organizations  </li><li style="font-family:'tahoma' , sans-serif;font-size:16px">Must be able to maintain records, work easily with a variety of people, and organize site activities</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma' , sans-serif;font-size:16px">Must be able to work with volunteers </li><li style="font-family:'tahoma' , sans-serif;font-size:16px">Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma' , sans-serif;font-size:16px">Basic math and record keeping skills</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma' , sans-serif;font-size:16px">Experience with basic data entry and the ability to quickly learn email and record/data base systems required.</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma' , sans-serif;font-size:16px">Must obtain ServSafe Manager certification within 2 months of employment</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma' , sans-serif;font-size:16px">Able to lift 30lb with or without assistance</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma' , sans-serif;font-size:16px">Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, push, and pull, raise arms above head, twist and grip items with or without assistance</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma' , sans-serif;font-size:16px">Must be able to stand for long period of time</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma' , sans-serif;font-size:16px">Must be able to use both hands and capable of performing repetitious duties</li></ul><ul><li style="font-family:'tahoma' , sans-serif;font-size:16px">Ability to work with minimal supervision</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma' , sans-serif;font-size:16px">Must pass a criminal background check (Live Scan fingerprinting) prior to beginning employment</li></ul><p><strong><u> </u></strong><strong><u>Responsibilities/Essential Functions:</u></strong></p><ul><li style="font-family:'tahoma' , sans-serif;font-size:16px">Organize and coordinate a senior nutrition site which may include data entry responsibilities and serve food according to HACCP guidelines</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma' , sans-serif;font-size:16px">Coordinate and assist in the assembly and packing of home delivered meals for delivery and/or grab and go</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma' , sans-serif;font-size:16px">Maintain records, attend staff meetings and training sessions as required </li><li style="font-family:'tahoma' , sans-serif;font-size:16px">Perform outreach activities to ensure the program meets annual attendance goals.  </li><li style="font-family:'tahoma' , sans-serif;font-size:16px">Maintain food wastage < 3%</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma' , sans-serif;font-size:16px">Observe all food safety procedures, including accurately taking and recording food/equipment temperatures  </li><li style="font-family:'tahoma' , sans-serif;font-size:16px">Enter data on client meal participation weekly to ensure timely reporting to program funding sources</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma' , sans-serif;font-size:16px">Monitor/ record donations and make bank deposits as needed</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma' , sans-serif;font-size:16px">Maintain updated waiting list for all areas</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma' , sans-serif;font-size:16px">Complete client intake assessment forms to evaluate program eligibility and update data base accordingly</li><li style="font-family:'tahoma' , sans-serif;font-size:16px">Maintain records;
