Storage Rentals of America is hiring a Part-Time Associate Property Manager to join our team. Do you know that joy you feel when you enter a clean room? That’s what we want for our customers.</li><li>Cleaning around the property and office is also part of it. This is not just for the customers; you also deserve to work in a clean environment.</li><li>Daily walks around the property to make sure everything is working properly. As a handy person some things you will know how to fix, and for all the other ones contacting vendors to get the job done is the way to go.</li></ul>Some Other things: <ul><li>Some customers like to pay with cash, so you will have to drive to the bank to make deposits.</li><li>Some boring (or not) paperwork like auction files, tenant letters, reports and other office activities.</li></ul>What do we need from you?<ul><li>You may be responsible for multiple stores and making trips to the bank so reliable transportation and a valid driver's license is required.</li><li>A year of experience in the Storage Rental Industry would be great, but we are not picky, so if you have a couple of years in Customer Service Management, this should be an easy transition for you.</li><li>Our schedule is a little different, so to be successful in this role you must be available during business hours Monday through Saturday, including weekends and holidays as needed. Team members work a 5-day workweek based on business needs and property schedules.</li><li>Our properties are open Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturdays from 9 AM to 5:00 PM. Some locations are also closed on Wednesdays. All properties are closed on Sundays.</li><li>You don’t need to be tech savvy, but computers are everywhere these days, so proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary.</li><li>You will be working alone or in a small team most of the time, so we hope that’s something you look forward to it.</li><li>Cleaning and maintaining the property requires some physical activities, so make sure you are able to lift up to 50 lbs. as well as push, pull, bend and lift.
