Typical duties will include, but are not limited to, explaining work assignments and administering remedial drill work and tests, monitoring classroom during tests, study periods and emergency absence of teacher, grading tests and homework, supervising students on field trips, assisting in housekeeping and/or child care activities and in daily physical, nutrition and dental routines. AND Ability to: - Monitor student progress, maintain classroom discipline and supervise students; - Type at 35 WPM and perform a variety of general clerical tasks; - Maintain confidentiality of student information and records; - Understand and carry out oral and written instructions; - Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with those contacted during the course of work.
