Overview Carle Health is seeking a BE/BC Anatomical and Clinical Pathologist to join our established Pathology team at Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois. Opportunity Details <ul><li>PRN position</li><li>New graduates welcome to apply</li><li>Training in both Anatomical and Clinical Pathology required. Overview:
This job is located in Bloomington,IL 8 am to 430pm Monday to Friday   POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting with and coordinating the daily operations of the Pathology Secretary area. Ensures that services meet quality and productivity standards, and takes corrective action as necessary. This includes developing work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing, and monitoring supplies. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining policies and procedures of this department in accordance with the Medical Center. The Lead Pathology Secretary establishes work priorities, organizes and assigns work to staff on a daily basis. Position assists with the coordination of departmental personnel orientation and training and is responsible for performing the duties of the Pathology Secretary position on a regular basis.

Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Required Education, Experience, and Certification: • High School Diploma or equivalent • Minimum 1 year experience in a high volume, fast-paced healthcare related field with an understanding of medical terminology • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and website navigation • Excellent written and verbal communication skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preferred Education, Experience, and Certification: • Associates’ degree in a science or healthcare related field • 3 years of experience working with a pathology information systems. • 2 years of leadership experience, with proven ability to direct and influence others to achieve common goals.
