Knowledge, Skills & Abilities • Knowledge of accrediting agencies and regulations associated with accreditation for areas of the lab worked (TJC, ISDH, CAP, AABB, FDA) • Computer skills • Performs other job-related duties as assigned (examples include but are not limited to: training students and/or new employees, assisting in startup studies for instruments or new procedures, assisting in validation of computer or interface upgrades and changes, acting as an instrument key operator.) • ASCP or equivalent certification required • Career Ladder - see SOP 207140: o In order for new graduate to move to MTII, they must have completed training and competencies in the assigned section(s), passed certification exam, and have worked on home shift for a sufficient time to demonstrate that they are consistently able to work independently and with a high degree of accuracy.
