Review safety and risk assessment, daily production goals and crew member responsibilities.  </li></ul><ul><li style="font-size:10pt">Perform proper Vehicle Condition Reports (VCR) and coordinate necessary repairs with foreman.  </li></ul><ul><li style="font-size:10pt">Utilize Safety best practices such as Be A Spotter get a Spotter, G.O.A.L, See Stop Do, T.R.A.C.K, Feet Not Inches, 3 Points of Contact  </li></ul><ul><li style="font-size:10pt">Identify and Correct Slip, Trip and Fall Hazards specifically on the screed, near ladders and cat walks.  </li></ul><ul><li style="font-size:10pt">Identify, Locate, Mark, and Communicate overhead hazard with others on the crew and truck drivers.  </li></ul><ul><li style="font-size:10pt">Locate, identify, and mark project specific hazards.  </li></ul><ul><li style="font-size:10pt">Participate in and ensure crew member participation in TYFOOM.  </li></ul><ul><li style="font-size:10pt">Understand procedures in the event of an incident.  </li></ul><ul><li style="font-size:10pt">Conduct documented task training prior to equipment use.  </li></ul>      Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)     <ul><li style="font-size:10pt">Safely operate and maintain various types of asphalt paving equipment as needed.  </li></ul><ul><li style="font-size:10pt">Provide a quality product, meeting required thickness, compaction, smoothness, drainage, and quality workmanship. Standards that make us the Preferred source in asphalt paving.  </li></ul><ul><li style="font-size:10pt">Supervising and coordinating crew activities, reviewing production schedules, and estimating work requirements to meet or enhance the estimate.  </li></ul><ul><li style="font-size:10pt">Inspect day’s work for Quality (NO Birdbaths, Rock Pockets, Roller Marks), Project drains properly, Joints are tight.  </li></ul><ul><li style="font-size:10pt">Clean up from days operations, Gutters are clear of debris, sidewalks are clear of debris, spoil piles cleaned up.  </li></ul><ul><li style="font-size:10pt">Train and mentor new crew members.
