Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the accounting and administration of the company’s benefit programs, performing payroll functions and assist with inventory monthly. This position includes frequent interaction with employees regarding benefit and payroll needs.

Responsibilities:
Payroll Responsibilities:<ul><li>Process weekly and monthly payrolls</li><li>Process voluntary and involuntary deductions such as child support and garnishments</li><li>Maintain employee payroll records</li><li>Preparing accounting transactions, verifying proper accounts are affected and accruals are accurate</li><li>Maintain confidentiality of employee information</li><li>Perform other duties as required</li></ul> Benefit Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs such as the profit sharing and retirement savings plan, health and dental plan, life and disability plans, cafeteria plan, stock plans, etc.</li><li>Administer company HIPAA privacy and security policies as appropriate</li><li>Present employee benefit topics at employee meetings, company picnics and other company events</li><li>Process new hire enrollments, terminations and changes</li><li>Perform E-Verify on corporate new hires and act as divisional back-up</li><li> Maintain complete and accurate employee files</li><li>Perform other duties as required</li></ul>

Qualifications:

The Store Manager is responsible for the sales, profitability, appearance, and overall operations of the store. The position objectives are to show consistent sales growth, ensure store exemplifies the proper O'Reilly image, operates as a profit center, and follows policies and procedures to ensure the store is operating as economically and efficiently as possible.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSResponsible for maximizing sales by directing team members in a manner that provides customers with prompt, courteous, and professional service.Solicit orders, sell company products, and represent the company in accordance with company policies.Maintain customer base, increase sales volume at assigned accounts, review customer needs to gain market share, solicit stocking-type business as well as daily needs and equipment sales.Communicate with and coordinate sales call efforts with the Territory Sales Manager.Responsible for supervising work performed by all store team members and working jointly with the District Manager in recruiting, testing, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining, and discharging team members under their supervision.Utilize Scheduling & Timekeeping recommendations based on sales and payroll forecasting to develop and post work schedules for each pay period.Review team member timecards for clocking accuracy and correct all missed punches daily.Responsible for ensuring all store team members continually improve their skills through company training on policies and procedures, customer service, computer operations, catalogs, sales and safety.Responsible for working with the Sales and Pricing Departments (with assistance of district manager) in establishing pricing levels for professional customers.Responsible for maximizing gross profit on outside purchases.Monitor non-competitive price overrides and price matches to ensure policy compliance, overall profitability, and eliminate discounting abuse.Ensure the store is organized and operating according to all company policies and procedures.Ensure any new information received from the company is communicated to all team members as necessary.Implement all planogram changes and merchandising plans as outlined.Provide the Inventory Control Department with accurate and timely stock adjustment recaps.Accurately handle all daily store accounting functions to ensure maximum store, corporate and distribution center efficiency. This includes sales reports, bank deposits, cash drawers, processing checks, etc.Monitor all charge accounts, promptly taking care of any past due situations and communicating regularly with the Territory Sales Manager and credit department on status of problem accounts.Monitor all susceptible areas and implement loss prevention procedures accordingly. It started with a father and son - Charles Francis "C.F." and Charles H. "Chub" O’Reilly. Together they had the courage and confidence to venture out on their own. Along with 11 others who shared the same desire to offer great customer service and auto parts availability, the doors of O’Reilly Automotive, Inc. opened on December 2, 1957.

Now, more than 61 years later, the 77,000-plus team members at O’Reilly Auto Parts are proud of the company’s achievements over the years.

During our early years, we focused on sales and slow and steady growth. At the end of our first year, sales totaled $700,000, and by 1961 volume reached $1.3 million. For the first seven years of operation, there was one store in Springfield, MO, until the second opened in July 1964. In March 1975, annual sales volume rose to $7 million and a 52,000 square-foot facility was built in Springfield for the O’Reilly/Ozark warehouse operation. By that time, the company had nine stores, all located in southwest Missouri.

The long range plans and stability of the company were solidified by a public offering of company stock in April 1993. Since that time, the Company has grown through new store and distribution center openings, as well as numerous mergers and acquisitions. O’Reilly currently operates stores in 47 states, including Alaska and Hawaii, and distribution centers in 27 locations.

Dramatic changes in technology, inventory control, facilities, and sheer size mark the O’Reilly growth and success story. But, it is our spirit of teamwork - how important it was then and how important it remains - that drives our performance. The company’s values and culture that started with the original 13 employee/owners remain evident and strong as we expand and develop Team O’Reilly.

We serve two distinct customer bases - the professional (installer) customers who provide auto repair services to their customers (DIFM - do it for me), and retail "walk-in" customers (DIY - do it yourself). Our dual-market strategy continues to differentiate us from the competition and is a major factor in our ongoing success. Depending on a store’s professional versus retail customer mix, more than 95 percent of our locations have team members dedicated to our professional customers, offering them separate counters, phone lines, and a delivery fleet that totals 18,455 vehicles. We also have a professional sales team, consisting of territory sales managers and in-store sales specialists, responsible for calling on our professional customers and building sound business partnerships to ensure O’Reilly is the First Call for their auto parts needs.
