Duties & Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Responsible for planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with current applicable Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations.</li><li>Schedule department working hours, personnel, work assignments, etc., to maintain quality patient care.</li><li>Develop and participate in programs designed for on-the-job training and orientation classes for newly assigned department personnel.</li><li>Schedule and/or conduct a monthly in-service for department personnel.</li><li>Hold routine departmental meetings.</li><li>Provide education to other departments in the facility regarding dietary services.</li></ul>

Qualifications & Requirements:
<ul><li>Must be a Certified Dietary Manager, long term care experience preferred</li><li>Minimum of two+ years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility or other related medical facility</li><li>Training in cost control, food management, diet therapy, etc.</li><li>Must maintain current licensure as required by law</li><li>Any combination of experience and training which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.</li><li>Reliable transportation required</li></ul>
