As a Clinical Care Technician (CCT), a typical day may include: Assisting patients with activities of daily living and providing nursing care to patients including taking vital signs, EKGS, performing phlebotomy, assisting with bedside care, i.e. bathing, mouth care, and skin care. Float Pool covers six (6) different areas, census varies from 11 to 28 patients and provides direct care to primarily medical surgical patients which include specialties like orthopedic / neurosurgery, oncology, stroke and cardiac and other conditions requiring telemetry.
