As part of the Nursing Leadership Team, the Nursing Manager actively engages with employees and residents through making rounds (ensuring that continuity of care is provided, promptly identifying/responding to changes in residents' condition, identifying areas to improve services, and observing/supporting employee activity), ensuring appropriate equipment/supplies are available for staff, visiting any new admissions daily, reviewing weekly Skin Integrity Reports with Unit Managers, collaborating with staff regarding plan of care, participating in survey inspections, and responding to emergency situations.
