Hospital housekeepers are responsible for the following: Cleaning patient rooms, bathrooms, and public areas, including dusting, vacuuming and washing windows Disinfecting surfaces and equipment, using appropriate cleaning agents, and following infection control protocols Changing bed linens Maintaining an infection-free environment throughout the hospital Utilizing approved cleaning solutions for proper disinfection Maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and healthcare staff Qualifications Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Operating acute care hospitals, behavioral health facilities, outpatient facilities and ambulatory care access points, an insurance offering, a physician network and various related services located all over the U.S. States, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the United Kingdom.
