Under the direction of the Associate Director of Health Professions Advising, the person in this role contributes to developing and providing a broad range of services to support over 2,500 undergraduates and alumni preparing for careers in the health professions and pursuing professional school admission in fields such as medicine, dentistry, optometry, pharmacy, physician assistant, nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, clinical laboratory science and veterinary medicine. Key Responsibilities: -Provide one-on-one advising (in person and virtually) to students and recent alumni on topics such as choosing a health career direction, selecting an academic major, developing a plan to become a competitive applicant for a graduate health profession program, developing effective interviewing skills, writing effective application materials, and researching graduate health profession schools/programs.
