The Postdoctoral Research Fellow position offers the additional opportunity for the applicant to become involved in the educational life of the Williams College Physics and Astronomy Department through interactions with undergraduate students at all stages of their education, including senior honors research projects, the teaching laboratory, or during the month-long January teaching term. The successful candidate will be expected to help lead the work of the laboratory in all areas including experimental design and new apparatus construction, theoretical modeling and detailed data analysis, and dissemination of work through scientific talks, conference presentations, and peer-reviewed publications.
