You will play a crucial role in advancing our optical systems for space surveillance and tracking.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Design and develop optical systems for space surveillance, including active and passive sensors.</li><li>Conduct trade studies and simulations for optical system design and performance assessment.</li><li>Develop and implement algorithms for image processing, data analysis, and object tracking in space.</li><li>Participate in system integration, testing, and validation in relevant environments.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams for the development of space domain awareness solutions.</li><li>Engage in the entire project lifecycle, from concept development to deployment.</li><li>Stay updated with the latest advancements in optical technologies relevant to space applications.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in the development of optical systems.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Master's/PhD degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.</li><li>Experience in optical system design and analysis, particularly for space applications.</li><li>Hands on experience aligning optical systems.</li><li>Knowledge of space environment and its impact on optical systems.</li><li>Proficiency in optical simulation and design software. Zemax preferred, although Code V, Fred, Synopsis, or equivalent are acceptable.</li><li>Familiarity with data processing and image analysis techniques.</li><li>Familiarity with CAD, specifically SolidWorks is preferred.</li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.</li><li>Any experience with MATLAB, python or similar programming language.</li></ul>Why Join EO Solutions?At EO Solutions, our people are our greatest asset. In this role, you’ll design, develop, and test mechanical systems for cutting-edge electro-optical products.
