Job Title: Pilot Plant Technician Location: Savannah, GA Contractor Work Model: Onsite Hours: M-F 7am-3:30pm Compensation: $25.00/hr Type: Contract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent Responsibilities<ul><li>Support delivery of routine and non-routine tasks and experiments through operation and maintenance of pilot scale and other scientific equipment</li><li>Execute the experimental R&D program and related support services, in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, and full EHS compliance</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair pilot plant assets within his/her scope of authority</li><li>Maintain an updated and accurate account of experiments using approved methods</li><li>Drive EHS improvements, Good Housekeeping, and other CI initiatives</li><li>Participate in technical and safety reviews for projects</li><li>Interact with project leaders daily to define the project needs and to understand their experimental objectives sufficiently to translate into pilot scale experiments</li><li>Develop and update SOPs, maintain specifications and calibration for equipment, instrumentation, and contract services</li><li>Perform other duties as requested by management to run and maintain pilot plant and provide services to Operations and other groups as requested. This includes waste management, material procurement, shipments, housekeeping, and others.</li><li>Work independently with established procedures and solve day-to-day technical issues</li><li>Participate in EHS programs and trainings as required by business</li></ul> Requirements<ul><li>Ability to support and execute technical programs in a pilot plant environment</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills for scientific equipment</li><li>Knowledge of EHS policies and procedures</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills with project teams</li><li>Ability to develop and update SOPs and maintain equipment calibration</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent; technical or scientific training preferred</li></ul> System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
