We are  committed to providing exceptional real estate settlement services to our clients.  We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Post-Closer to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and professional environment, focusing on real estate transactions and providing additional support to our team as needed. Duties<ul style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0"><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif;color:#595959;font-weight:400;margin-left:11pt">Review and finalize closing documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif;color:#595959;font-weight:400;margin-left:11pt">Record deeds, deeds of trust, and other real estate documents with the appropriate clerk's offices.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif;color:#595959;font-weight:400;margin-left:11pt">Disburse funds and ensure proper allocation according to closing statements.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif;color:#595959;font-weight:400;margin-left:11pt">Coordinate with lenders, title companies, and clients to resolve any post-closing issues.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif;color:#595959;font-weight:400;margin-left:11pt">Maintain and organize closing files for future reference and audits.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif;color:#595959;font-weight:400;margin-left:11pt">Assist with other administrative tasks and legal support as necessary within the law firm.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif;color:#595959;font-weight:400;margin-left:11pt">Attend and assist in closings as needed.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif;color:#595959;font-weight:400;margin-left:11pt">Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.</li></ul> Experience<ul style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0"><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif;color:#595959;font-weight:400;margin-left:11pt">Previous experience in real estate post-closing or closing is preferred.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif;color:#595959;font-weight:400;margin-left:11pt">Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif;color:#595959;font-weight:400;margin-left:11pt">Excellent communication and organizational skills.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif;color:#595959;font-weight:400;margin-left:11pt">Proficiency in using SoftPro and Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif;color:#595959;font-weight:400;margin-left:11pt">Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif;color:#595959;font-weight:400;margin-left:11pt">A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding service to clients.</li></ul> Job Type: Full-timePay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per week Benefits:<ul style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0"><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif;color:#595959;font-weight:400;margin-left:11pt">Dental insurance</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif;color:#595959;font-weight:400;margin-left:11pt">Health insurance</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif;color:#595959;font-weight:400;margin-left:11pt">Paid time off</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif;color:#595959;font-weight:400;margin-left:11pt">Vision insurance</li></ul> Physical Setting: OfficeSchedule: Monday to FridayExperience: Two yearsAbility to Commute: Virginia Beach, VA 23452 (Required)Ability to Relocate:Virginia Beach, VA 23452: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
