This role performs precision hand soldering, including surface-mount and through-hole work, in accordance with approved work instructions, drawings, bills of material, routing sheets, and applicable IPC-A-610 workmanship criteria. The assessment may evaluate component identification and placement, surface-mount and/or through-hole soldering, use of tools and magnification, ESD and safety practices, workmanship, defect recognition, rework technique, and the ability to follow written instructions.
