Description:
Akima Global Technology (AGT), an Akima company, is looking to hire a Personnel Security Processor to support their DoE client in Albuquerque, NM.  To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today! This position performs work in support of human resource professionals that requires a good working knowledge of personnel procedures, guides, and precedents.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Job tasks may include interviewing applicants, obtaining references, and recommending placement in a well-defined occupation.</li><li>At this level, assistants typically have a range of personal contacts within and outside the organization, in addition to handling employee-sensitive material. Therefore, the Assistant must be tactful, discrete, and articulate.</li><li>This Assistant may be involved in identifying potential issues and grievance procedures, in addition to documenting necessary information to avoid company threat.</li><li>The Personnel Assistant III may make recommendations to human resource professionals on job classification, wage rates, and employee salaries.</li><li>The use of computers may be relied on heavily for organizational and reporting purposes. Advanced experience with office software packages may be needed.</li><li>This Assistant may perform some clerical work in addition to the above duties.</li><li>Supervisor will review completed work against stated objectives.</li><li>Documents security clearance actions in automated databases.</li><li>Obtains information required to continue clearance actions.</li><li>This is conducted through direct contact by phone or e-mail with applicant/incumbents, officials, contractor customers, and local and national members of the security community.</li><li>Takes action on a file that might impact an individual’s eligibility, or continued eligibility, for access authorization.</li><li>Processes work in the priority order established by management.</li><li>Retrieves Specific files directly from vault storage.</li><li>Screens information (paperwork, phone calls, etc.) to determine the required actions and be able to forward information the appropriate employee/location for action.</li><li>Keeps management apprised of workload status.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>US Citizenship is a must. Candidate must be able to pass and obtain a DOE Q Level clearance.</li><li>Possess sufficient data entry skills.</li><li>3+ years of typing and word processing skills are required.</li><li>Effective reading comprehension and detail recognition skills are required.</li><li>Good communication skills are necessary for obtaining information required to continue clearance actions.</li><li>Attention to detail is required as even minor errors may significantly impact clearance-processing actions.</li><li>Must be able to recognize designated priorities.</li><li>Must be able to understand and work with office specific filing system.</li><li>While limited decision-making skills are required, processor must be able to exercise sound judgment within the scope of activities they are required to conduct.</li><li>Must be able to annotate files in a professional manner.</li><li>Must be able to screen and identify the appropriate information for forwarding.</li><li>Must be capable of working multiple types of clearance actions without losing track of designated priorities.</li><li>Ability to attain a DOE Q Level Clearance.  Active DOE Q Level clearance is highly desired.</li></ul>

Summary: Responsible for originating all documents for family residential mortgage loans; including loans maintained in the bank's portfolio and the secondary market.Responsibilities: Interview prospective borrowers to determine applicable loan program. Make credit recommendations. Order credit reports, appraisals, surveys, title documentation, and assist processors with verification process. Maintain working relationship with borrowers, realtors, service providers, and fellow employees. Meet disclosure requirements and adhere to all federal and state banking and lending regulations.Requirements: Must have familiarity with laws & regulations governing real estate lending and the banking industry.
