Responsibilities:
<p style="margin-bottom:0in">As a Senior Purchasing Agent supporting MC Dean’s growing businesses, your role will include: </p><ul><li>Functioning as a key liaison between the Procurement team and internal stakeholders including MC Dean’s Executive Team, Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing.</li><li>Working closely with the core Program/Project teams to manage high visibility and high value programs, applying program/project management skills to assure the timely and efficient execution of MC Dean’s portfolio of projects.</li></ul><p style="margin:0in"><strong>Your responsibilities will include:</strong></p><ol><li>Procurement planning during the bidding phase<ul><li>Understanding contract specifications and bills of material</li><li>Sourcing,  identifying, and prequalifying vendors Developing comprehensive RFP’s</li><li>Analyzing  multiple quotes (scope leveling) Vendor Matrix ; working with project and engineering team to confirm completeness of scope of service and supply</li><li>Negotiating and finalizing agreements  </li><li>Developing the Procurement Plan</li><li>Post award, managing plan implementation</li></ul></li><li>Post award procurement planning and implementation on major projects and programs,<ul><li>Transferring bid phase documents and knowledge to the project team</li><li>Engaging with the project team on procurement planning & implementation</li><li>Capturing and communicating market intelligence across projects & programs</li></ul></li><li>Understanding, evaluating, and incorporating current market conditions into procurement plans, including but not limited to: <ul><li>Pricing trends</li><li>Lead times and logistical requirements</li><li>Best value opportunities</li><li>Alternative products opportunities (Material cost/Labor savings)</li><li>Evolving contract compliance requirements</li></ul></li><li>Reading, understanding, and interpreting contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedules.</li><li>Traveling to project sites, manufacturers, and vendor as needed </li></ol>

Qualifications:

Pay Range:
USD $99,840.00 - USD $149,760.00 /Yr.
