Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.<h3>What You'll Do:</h3>Eaton Mission Systems Division in Davenport, Iowa is seeking a Tactical Procurement Manager to lead the tactical purchasing activities and associated buyers for the Integrated Product Team (IPT). This position will ensure that purchase orders are placed within requirements, and deliveries meet the demand plan, quality, and cost targets. The position is located in Davenport, Iowa and will work on-site out of Eaton's Davenport facility.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Accountable for quality, delivery, and cost of supplied goods and services to the IPT</li><li>Manages and assists with buyer analysis, development and placement of purchase orders, including both OEM and spares/repairs/aftermarket ordering</li><li>Leads daily/weekly meetings with buyers and supporting the IPT cabinet by managing complex supply issues and controlling inventory positions</li><li>Fosters healthy relationships within the supply base</li><li>Proposes and assists in execution of appropriate supplier consolidations and transitions</li><li>Conducts cadenced reviews of buyers' KPIs to analyze and react to MRP action and exception messages</li><li>Operates within guidelines and procedures to ensure compliance to FAR and DFARS requirements, leading by example, and focusing on risk assessment and elimination</li><li>Ensures proper staffing, development and training of buyers</li><li>Produces summary content and report out to senior leadership in cadenced SIOP forecasting and IPT review meetings</li><li>Efficiently manages the analysis and cut in of engineering changes, new product introductions, and end of life products</li><li>Supports ongoing establishment and continuous improvement of site purchasing processes</li><li>Supports integration of key corporate supply chain processes</li></ul><h3>Qualifications:</h3>Basic Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelors degree from an accredited institution is required</li><li>Minimum 5 years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment</li><li>Minimum 5 years negotiating experience</li><li>No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 70 miles of Davenport, IA to be considered. We are looking to fill a full time Senior Buyer position with a manufacturer located in the general area of Monroe, WI. Salary Range:  $75k to $80k DOE.  Relocation assistance is available. Position Overview: Under the supervision of the Controller: sources, negotiates, buys, and expedites raw material, maintenance parts, shop supplies, capital improvements and all other non-essential supplies at the lowest possible cost consistent with accepted standards of quality and service within established time frames. Duties and Responsibilities: ·       Source and procure raw materials, shop supplies and maintenance parts necessary for production, considering price, quality and delivery. ·       Enter in all purchase orders into the Odyssey system. ·       Receive all incoming material into the Odyssey system. ·       Maintain Capital projects folders. ·       Work with the Quality department on new materials to be sampled, sample paperwork is on file in the purchasing department. ·       Maintain all IATF files pertaining to the purchasing department, supplier surveys, supplier certifications, on time deliveries. ·       Work with corporate purchasing on new suppliers and new part number entries. ·       Report to the corporate purchasing department on monthly cost savings. ·       Enter all month end inventories into the system for all departments, turn in a monthly scrap report to corporate, along with copies of invoices for surcharges on raw materials. ·       Maintain relationships with supply base. ·       Helps with 5S Auditing, monthly LPA audit and EHS observations/weekly audit. ·       Additional duties may be required. <div> </div>
