The program director is responsible for day to day operations of the MPH program including recruitment and mentoring of part-time faculty, creating course schedules and teaching assignments, coordinating student advising, addressing student concerns, attending recruitment events, leading orientation events, supporting ongoing program evaluation efforts and reports, maintaining compliance with program accreditation requirements, leading faculty and staff meetings, coordinating with various units within SONHP and across the university, and other duties associated with program operations. The mission of the MPH Program at USF is to improve the health of local and global populations, particularly the underserved and vulnerable, through innovative and inspired research, service, and teaching that is grounded in education of the whole person to be a change agent who strives for excellence in all pursuits.
