Primary job responsibilities of a Senior Principal OPM include: • Managing and maintaining the day-to-day interfaces and communications between the assigned Program Management Office (PMO), Manufacturing, Testing, Manufacturing Planning & Scheduling, Mission Assurance (MA), Supply Chain (SCM), Engineering, and Shipping • Coordinating efforts of multiple OPMs to ensure manufacturing deliverables are on track for cost and schedule across multiple programs or on a large complex program requiring extensive resource coordination • Providing direction and mentorship of junior OPMs • Facilitating internal meetings in a way to support production, testing, and problem resolutions in support of program needs • Responsible for the successful execution of the operations/manufacturing scope of the program's statement of work (SOW), achieving targeted cost and schedule requirements • Leading manufacturing planning and readiness efforts • Acting as the focal point for manufacturing input into proposals to capture new business • Supporting bill of material (BOM) development on development programs • Supporting continuous improvement by identifying opportunities and executing improvement plans • Communicating relevant manufacturing metrics to the PMO • Acting as Cost Account Manager (CAM) for manufacturing on a program • Program closeout support and hardware disposition. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Engineering or Business Management Experience with cost, schedule, project leadership, and/or process improvement Manufacturing or Engineering experience Experience with bases of estimates, shop order creation, and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) Active DoD U.S. Secret clearance.
