Provide legal advice and counseling to University units, including the academic colleges and UF/IFAS, regarding business, academic, and research transactions, as well as corporate and shared governance, including: Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing agreements, including form and template agreements, for a diverse client base including but not limited to procurement, sponsored programs, and academic arrangements; Drafting and reviewing policies and procedures, regulations, bylaws, and other governance documents. Job Description: Provide legal advice and counseling to UF Advancement and other University units regarding gift- and donation-related issues, including: Advising on and reviewing gift agreements and philanthropic grants; Advising on compliance with relevant state and federal laws applicable to universities and entities receiving federal and state funding, University regulations, policies and other governing authorities, Board of Governors regulations, and federal and state agency opinion letters and guidance.
