This position collaborates with multiple colleagues and contributes wherever needed, adapting to shifting priorities and capacity. </p><p>The ideal candidate for this position is someone who takes initiative, enjoys learning new technology, and finding solutions. </p><h5>Essential Responsibilities </h5><ul><li>Creates digital assets for web, email, and product pages, collaborating with design and promotional team. </li><li>Writes and edits copy for product descriptions, landing pages, and email campaigns, ensuring content is SEO-optimized and aligned with brand voice. </li><li>Assists with ideation and execution of digital promotional strategies for campaigns. </li><li>Contributes web design ideas and supports the implementation of design updates. </li><li>Stays current on digital marketing, SEO, and web design trends. </li><li>Supports campaign reporting and analysis as needed. </li><li>Uploads and modifies products, imagery, and content on the e-commerce platform. </li><li>Regularly browses the AgriLife Learn storefront catalog to ensure products, links, content and services are up to date and working properly and reports any suggested improvements. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned to support the digital promotions team. </li></ul><h5>Required Education and Experience </h5><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, other applicable field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>One year of related content writing and editing experience. </li></ul><h5>Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities </h5><ul><li>Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications </li><li>Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written communication. </li><li>Strong copy-writing skills with a focus on writing for web and SEO. </li><li>Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking. </li><li>Ability to use critical thinking and reasoning to solve problems. </li><li>Ability to present information clearly and concisely </li><li>Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines. </li></ul><h5>Preferred Qualifications </h5><ul><li>Experience with copywriting for digital platforms. </li><li>Experience creating digital assets (graphics, banners, etc.). </li><li>Interest in marketing strategy and campaign development. </li><li>Familiarity with content management systems, email marketing platforms, and basic design tools </li><li>Experience writing copy for product descriptions, landing pages, and promotional campaigns via web, email, and social media. </li></ul><h5>Preferred Knowledge Skills and Abilities </h5><ul><li>Keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design. </li><li>Knowledge of digital marketing, web design, and SEO principles. </li><li>Strong writing and editing skills. </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities. </li><li>Proficiency with computers and related software, including Salesforce, MS Office Suite, and other relevant platforms. </li><li>Commitment to maintaining accurate records. </li></ul><h5>What You Need to Know </h5><p>Rate of Pay: $19.00/hour </p><h5>Applicant Instructions </h5><p>Include a Resume, Cover Letter, and References with your application. </p><p>All positions are security-sensitive.
