Join the Statler Hotel team as our Event Service & Marketing Manager, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while elevating our brand presence.This dynamic, dual-focus role blends event service excellence with strategic marketing leadership. You'll manage events from post-contract through on-site execution while also helping shape and promote the Statler experience across multiple channels.What You'll DoEvent Services & Client Experience<ul><li>Serve as the primary contact for assigned events from post-contract through execution.</li><li>Partner with clients to plan every detail, including agendas, room setups, audiovisual needs, menus, and billing.</li><li>Manage room blocks, rooming lists, and reservation timelines to maximize performance.</li><li>Prepare and distribute detailed event orders, resumes, and documentation ensuring seamless execution.</li><li>Conduct client outreach, site tours, and planning meetings to finalize program details.</li><li>Forecast event and conference revenue accurately on assigned accounts.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams by leading pre-conference meetings and communicating updates.</li><li>Attend select high-profile events on-site to ensure a flawless transition to operations teams.</li></ul>Marketing & Brand Engagement<ul><li>Partner with the Director of Sales & Marketing to plan and execute comprehensive marketing strategies.</li><li>Manage social media presence, including content creation, posting, and engagement.</li><li>Develop and maintain marketing collateral, ensuring brand consistency.</li><li>Coordinate promotions, activations, press releases, and photo shoots.</li><li>Update website content and manage newsletters and VIP programs.</li><li>Respond to online reviews and comments, enhancing guest engagement.</li><li>Support strategic marketing initiatives that elevate visibility of the hotel, restaurants, and HLDP programs.</li><li>Maintain digital signage and create email blasts based on the needs of the Sales team and director of revenue management.</li></ul>Operations & Systems<ul><li>Maintain accurate client records and event details within the Delphi system.</li><li>Maintain Statler websites using Milestone.</li><li>Utilize TravelClick for Email blasts, and 22miles for digital signage management.</li><li>Track changes, update documentation, and communicate revisions promptly.</li><li>Ensure all departments are aligned on event details and updates.</li></ul>On-Site Event Support<ul><li>Be present for major events and VIP functions, including evenings and weekends as needed.</li><li>Welcome clients, confirm readiness, and facilitate smooth handoffs to the service team.</li></ul>Leadership & Collaboration<ul><li>Participate in team meetings and contribute to hotel operations.</li><li>Support the Statler's educational mission by mentoring and guiding student employees.</li><li>Collaborate across departments to support overall hotel success.</li></ul>At the Statler, you'll be part of a collaborative, innovative environment that values both excellence in service and professional growth.
