In this position, under general supervision of the Psychiatric Service Chief, you will exercise medical responsibility for area offices of Coastal Empire CMHC; interview, examine, diagnose, and treat a broad range of mental and emotional disorders in concert with a team approach with other mental health professionals by team staffing, case consultation, and medical record review. Responsibilities for the Child Psychiatrist include: Provide direct patient care in the form of psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and medication evaluation to patients served by Coastal Empire CMHC, in its clinics and in community facilities as appropriate.
