Abilities: Ability to plan, assign and supervise the work of groups of employees engaged in department operations; ability to interpret engineering plans and specifications in field applications; basic computer skills and mathematical skills; ability to work effectively under time constraints to meet deadlines; ability to prepare and manage budgets and departmental finance; ability to remain calm, concentrate and perform all responsibilities in a competent manner at all times; ability to communicate effectively with general public, officials and department employee both orally and in writing. Education and Experience: Graduate of a two year college with a Associate’s degree with three to five (3-5) years related work experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform and essential functions of the job.
